I began sewing when I was about ten years old.  I was taught by my mother, followed by a few years of sewing in school.  Needlework has always been a part of my life.  The first piece of cross stitch I did was a bib when I was pregnant with my firstborn.  I was hooked.  When my children were small, most of my stitching was given as gifts.  Soon, friends began to offer to pay me to create pieces for them. Wow!  How amazing to be paid to do something you love.  I have been operating my home crafting business, including selling my merchandise at craft shows for well over twenty years now.
